Is there a spring trip planned and, if so, where and when?
Yes, we are traveling to NYC April 23-25! Information is shared at the start of the year and all singers are welcome.
What does my FHSCPA donation support?
Your donation supports the choral program in many ways! The FHSCPA uses funds to support ordering music, paying concert musicians, celebrating students (ex senior signs, or goodie bags) providing food for students at various events and rehearsals, and offsetting trip costs for all students.
How many choirs are there at FHS?
This year FHS is offering 4 curricular choirs.
Are there extra-curricular singing or social opportunities?
Yes extra-curricular events include opportunities for students to audition for District, State, and Regional Honor Choirs, as well as local extra performances and events. Our Fairfax Carolers will be back this December to sing for many local events. Our Student Choir Council is planning several fun events for our choir students throughout the year.
